Welcome!

Open hearts.

Our grace-based theology reflects how our members deeply care for each other and for the people in our neighborhoods. This is a community of people sharing God’s love with the world.

Open Minds.

We believe that grace is available to everyone, no matter who you are, and what you believe. No matter where you’re from, what you look like, or who you love, you are welcome here.

Open Doors.

Our church is open to all. We believe in welcoming everyone into our lives, as well as working to take action outside of the church to serve our neighbors and lift up the people in our community.

Our Mission

Founded in 1973, our church has been active in the Panacea community for more than four decades. It is our joy and privilege to minister to all who yearn for a deep and committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
We worship together every Sunday at 9 am at our sanctuary at 2780 Surf Road. This beautiful campus has been our church home since 1981. Our vision is to cultivate a diverse Christian community where we all strive to love God, welcome all, and joyfully serve one another.

We are an integral part of the Ochlockonee Bay community, providing Farm Share and Food Pantry days to our neighbors every month. We invite our members to join in service and fellowship together.

The Ochlockonee Bay UMC Church Food Pantry serves to improve the health and well-being of our neighbors by providing reliable access to nutritious food in a welcoming environment through the generosity of volunteers, individuals and community partnerships.
